Request a foundation evaluation
Call if something changed quickly, like a crack that opened this week or a door that suddenly won't close. Otherwise, send a request and a foundation contractor who works in Wichita County will call you back.
Before you call
It helps to have:
- Your address and town, so the request reaches a contractor that serves it
- Whether the house is on a slab or a crawl space (pier-and-beam), if you know
- What you're seeing: cracks, sticking doors, sloping floors, gaps at trim
- When you first noticed it, and whether it's getting worse
- Any earlier foundation repairs, pier logs, warranties or inspection reports
Keep a short log. Which doors stick, where the cracks are, and roughly when each showed up tells a contractor how the house is moving before they ever take a reading.
